was it really his Fatima? i just listened….i have a deadline to make for a project at work…closes in 59 minutes-i have about 2 hours work to cram into these minutes, but i’m sitting here bleary eyed. whether or not it was his Fatima girlfriend, more and worse have happened. bless him for bringing the stories and the emotions that we-despite privilege can so relate to….to burn into our hearts a knowledge of the suffering that must not be allowed in blindness.

Fatima is my favourite song on the entire CD. I feel that, despite the majority of his songs being about Somalia, this is the one song that truly captures the reality that is this nation. Your description is awesome and really does this incredible song justice. Well done.
